The Elements: Notchi's Latest Photoshoot at Lancelin Sand Dunes

Our latest photoshoot for Notchi's fashion collection, aptly titled "Elemental," was an unforgettable adventure amidst the stunning Lancelin Sand Dunes in Western Australia. As the creative force behind Notchi, I couldn't be prouder of how the day unfolded and the breathtaking shots we captured.

The Early Start

The team and I woke up early, groggy but filled with excitement. We arranged to meet at the entrance of the dunes, ready for a day of sand, sun, and style. I'm not a morning person, but after my second coffee, I was ready to embrace the day ahead. The caffeine kick was just what I needed to get into the spirit of the shoot.

The Team

Jan, our incredibly talented photographer, was the mastermind behind the lens. Maeva, our stunning model, embodied the essence of "Elemental" with her grace and poise. The rest of the team was equipped with everything we needed: drones for aerial shots, a tent for some much-needed shade, and a couple of four-wheel drives to navigate the sandy terrain. Sunscreen, however, was one crucial item we forgot, making it a rather sunburnt day for some of us.

The Photoshoot

We were fortunate to miss the usual crowd, giving us free rein over the expansive, otherworldly landscape of the dunes. The shoot was a blend of creativity and spontaneity, capturing the raw beauty of nature and the intricate designs of our collection. Jan's expertise shone through in every shot, highlighting Maeva against the backdrop of sweeping sand dunes and the clear blue sky.

A Perfect Ending

After a solid five hours of shooting, we decided to call it a day. Exhausted but elated, we packed up and drove to the nearest beach. The cool, refreshing ocean was a perfect end to our desert adventure. We topped off the day with a hearty meal at a local pub, sharing our sunburnt faces and laughter as the sun set.
